An entrepreneur reached out to us with a problem. What to do with a vintage gas station in the heart of Tulsa’s East Village?

After researching current and future developments in the area and performing focus group sessions to determine resident’s needs in the area it was clear that Downtown Tulsa, particularly the East Village, with explosive growth in it’s residential population, was lacking a market.
Our findings suggested the best use for the property was to create an up-scale neighborhood bodega. A one-stop-shop for everyday items, curated wine and local craft beer, artisanal cheese and bread, as well as, coffee, grab-and-go food items and a place to meet - a local “gathering place.” The site also allowed for the opportu- nity to host a farmers market or outdoor art exhibits.
