Peckar & Abramson, a leading construction law firm with a reputation for excellence, entrusted us to transform their new office space in Amegy Tower. Our goal was to craft a design that seamlessly blended functionality with their collaborative, dynamic culture, creating an inspiring and efficient work environment for their team.
The existing suite had great bones and plenty of space to work with, but a few thoughtful tweaks were needed to bring the firm’s vision to life. Our team explored bold design options throughout the office. In the reception and meeting rooms, we revitalized the existing wainscoting with a fresh coat of paint and introduced striking graphic wall coverings to create a modern ‘resimmercial’ feel. The use of pattern mixing and deep, rich colors contrasted beautifully with the reused neutral carpet, adding value and maintaining a strong sense of continuity throughout the space.
A standout feature was the incorporation of P&A’s collection of hard hats—souvenirs from the firm’s long history of successful partnerships. These hard hats had previously been displayed on floating wooden shelves, and Inventure’s team was excited to reimagine this display in the new space.
One primary objective was enhancing natural light in key areas, particularly the primary meeting rooms and the break room. To achieve this, we opened up the break room to the perimeter glazing while preserving the original millwork and plumbing, resulting in significant cost savings. This simple yet effective change, paired with a new tile backsplash, flooring, and fixtures, gave the space a fresh, tailored feel. A custom millwork banquette and lounge furniture added comfort and style, while a bespoke marquee sign introduced an element of the firm’s culture. The space quickly became a hub for collaboration, with employees often gathering for games and puzzles over lunch, embodying P&A’s spirit of teamwork.
