Scott envisions a future where all healthcare facilities are designed with empathy towards the patient’s needs, where families are comfortable, and nurses have every instrument within reach. To enable healthcare providers to provide superior services, Scott listens to the unique needs of each client and creates customized solutions. His strengths lie in being able to quickly generate a variety of solutions at all stages of the design process, while still maintaining the high caliber of work he is known for. When he isn’t giving his client’s expert advice on best practices, sharing trends and ensuring each project fulfills its greatest potential, you’ll find him eating at the best pizza places and digging into a sci-fi novel.
Scott is certified through the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has achieved Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC). He engages with the greater community of designers in Houston through his active membership in the Rice Design Alliance and, as a LEED Green Associate, he maintains his commitment to sustainability by staying up to date on best practices. Scott graduated from Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design (BED) degree.
