Michel’s love for interior design started at the age of 10 — from creating hand-drawn floor plans of her room to creating mood boards from her Mom’s Home and Garden magazines, she knew design was where she wanted to be. During her time at O’More College, Michel was able to develop a keen awareness of the importance of making one to one connections. The same personal connectivity extends to this day with many of her past clients that she calls mentor, personal references and friend.
In her professional life, Michel has had the opportunity to design, manage and deliver various types of interior projects. Her project experience ranges from replacement hospitals to higher education facilities, government and municipal, multi-family and corporate interiors. Her journey through design has led her to become a well-rounded designer with both CAD and Revit experience, and her proven ability to develop and retain long term clients. Michel’s passion for mentorship has led her to become an adjunct professor at four universities across the DFW and San Marcos areas.
Michel has two bachelor degrees, Interior Design and Historic Preservation, from O’More College of Design/Belmont University. She is a Registered Interior Designer, an IIDA member and had obtained her NCIDQ certification.
