Inventure designed The Cannon Memorial Co-Working Space to be a flexible, community-driven workplace that supports different ways of working.

From open work areas and private offices to meeting rooms, breakout zones, a kitchen, and a welcoming reception, every part of the space was planned to balance heads-down focus with opportunities to connect and collaborate.

Bringing in as much natural light as possible was a big priority, so we used glass-walled offices and meeting rooms to keep things bright and open. Comfortable furniture, smart acoustic solutions, and thoughtfully designed social spaces help make the space both functional and inviting.

A key challenge was working within the limits of the existing building. The Cannon typically leans into an exposed ceiling look, but that wasn’t an option here. Instead, we got creative—using sleek linear lighting, modern suspended fixtures, and black ceiling accents to create depth and openness while keeping the aesthetic true to their brand.

With a tight timeline, we stayed hands-on with contractors and suppliers to keep things moving while making sure no design details were lost along the way. In the end, the space came together just as we envisioned—an energizing, adaptable workplace that feels like The Cannon through and through.
