We were approached by E&S Construction to assist them with a traditional Design/ Build project for a regional electrical supply company’s distribution warehouse.
The site also provided on-site stormwater detention, parking for 140 spaces (for staff and visitors), and a lay-down area for skid-mounted equipment that could be stored outside. Fire lane access was provided around the entire facility.
The site was a greenfield site in Cypress, Texas. Located on 11 acres, the goal was to maximize the site for 180,000 SF of the building which included 15,000 SF of office space (with the possibility of a second floor adding and additional 15,000 SF of useable office space), and the remainder of the area dedicated to warehouse storage and distribution. Twenty- six dock high truck bays formed the core of their receiving and distribution operations.
