"People spend 90% of their lives in interiors… unless you’re me, then it’s 100%.”
Clarissa began her studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as a biology major. She loved researching and studying everything in the medical field, but couldn’t see herself as a healthcare professional. She took one Interior Architecture and Design course and was drawn to the challenge of projects, ultimately finding a way to blend her love of research with the built environment.
Clarissa has had experience working on educational, senior living, and multi-family projects. She loves creating thoughtful details that speak to and positively impact the end users.
Clarissa is an associate member of IIDA and is passionate about volunteering her time to the advocacy of the profession. She is eager to complete the final two tests to become a certified interior designer. After achieving licensure she plans on pursuing her LEED and WELL accreditations. After each test she plans on basking in the sun with a spicy margarita (on the rocks)!
