Carter Brooks

Architectural Designer

“Design is just a ball of clay, Its our job as architects to shape it.”

Carter's passion for design has been ingrained in him since childhood, where he found joy in creating and constructing various projects. From assembling intricate Lego sets to designing and building his family's house during high school, design has always been an inherent part of his identity. Carter's mind is constantly attuned to spotting opportunities for change and improvement in the world around him. When he's not immersed in the world of design, Carter enjoys indulging in his other interests, such as music, fashion, and anime.

Carter graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Architecture. During his time at school, he became the President, Vice president, and recruiting chair of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) chapter on campus. Upon graduating, he received the Alpha Rho Chi medal for the number of things he did and events he attended for the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design. Carter also received the Dr. John L. Colbert and Dr. Barbara Lofton Leadership Award from the University of Arkansas Back Alumni Society and the Graduating Student Leader award from the Division of Student Affairs.
