With over 25 years experience in global commercial, residential, education, medical and luxury builds, Almero is fascinated by shapes, specifically how building elements complement each other and fit together as structures. He is a committed, solutions driven person, loves technical detail and is passionate about concrete and steel.

Almero received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of the Orange Free State in South Africa, where he has also since returned to guest lecture over the years. He is a member of the Royal institute of British Architects (RIBA), Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) and a founding member of the Green Building Society (GBSA). Although he has received a variety of awards over his career, he was deeply humbled by his 2019 Blue Steel Blue Scope award conferred by SACAP.

In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and dog, flying, cave diving or may be found out on the trails with his mountain bi
