The Williams Tower Level 3 Renovation is a key part of a 10-floor transformation that reflects Williams’ modern approach to workplace design. As the main visitor floor, Level 3 was reimagined to better represent the company’s identity while improving functionality, flexibility, and sustainability.

The project’s main goals were to modernize the space, support employee well-being, and create an inclusive, adaptable environment. The design introduced a range of work settings—collaborative areas, quiet zones, and informal meeting spaces—to suit different work styles and encourage interaction.

Upgrades to lighting, mechanical, and plumbing systems improved comfort and efficiency, while modern finishes and vibrant brand colors—orange, blue, green, and yellow—enhanced visual appeal and wayfinding.

A key challenge was designing an open layout that reflected company values. Private offices were kept away from exterior windows to ensure all employees had access to natural light, promoting equity and minimizing hierarchy. This required creative planning to balance openness with the need for privacy and focus. Demountable wall systems were used to support flexibility and reduce construction waste.

Sustainability was central to the renovation. Materials with low emissions were selected, and efficient systems were implemented to lower energy and water use. These decisions align with Williams’ environmental goals and commitment to occupant wellness.

More than a design update, the Level 3 renovation reflects a cultural shift toward equity, transparency, and innovation. It delivers a dynamic and functional space that supports productivity, engagement, and sustainability—reinforcing Williams’ values and setting a strong example for future workplace design.
